I will be exhibiting a selection of my altered books at Cole Library in Carlsbad, CA in January through February of 2022. If you are in the area, I hope you will stop by and take a look. My work was selected by the gallery curators at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery.
“…Using a wide range of materials and artistic approaches the artists in Bound and Unbound VI explored the use of materials ranging from glass to fabric, photography to metal. My own interest in materiality and unexpected solutions to aesthetic issues led me to make the choices that I did. During the process I learned a tremendous amount about how this group of artists all approached the same problem.”
